Every Friday you will be assigned an online module. These online modules are called the "Living Russian Language Modules."
To access them, you must register an e-mail address in the system that will work as your login ID. You will only need to register the e-mail address once.
To register the e-mail, go to http://livingrussian.com. Choose the “Register new user” link and follow the directions. Be sure to note down your password for future use, and make sure the password is not one you use at any other website or in any other system since it will be sent over the internet unencrypted. You will then receive a confirmation e-mail at that address. (Do not request teacher permissions unless you are a teacher of Russian with a publicly verifiable, institutional email address.)
Once you have confirmed the address, you will be able to use it to log on to the Living Russian Language Modules. Each module should take less than an hour to complete.
Note: you will need to install a Russian language keyboard for your computer to complete the modules. A homophonic keyboard will speed your ability to type, but you may install a standard keyboard as well. You can find instructions here for OS X, and here for Windows 10. For Chrome OS activate the homophonic (AATSEEL) Russian keyboard, and if you have an Android system, then activate anything that you can get to work.
